What I did:
-After learning data visualization, I'm now done with making interactive graphs with R. -Basically, I'm making graphs that can be edited or manipulated (e.g. I can select values from the graph, color them, cut them out, etc.) -I'm done with the course on data science, so I am ready to get some data from the internet and try analyzing it with R. Reflection: -I'm busy with AP studies these days. -Some of you might be wondering why I would study so hard for AP exams as a senior. After all, my scores can't be used for anything else other than getting some college credits. -Yeah, I wonder why too...... So I came up with a couple of reasons for that. -One would be that I might be applying for some foreign medical schools in the future. I'm considering those in Hong Kong, since they are high-class yet pretty cheap (about $20000 per year including things besides the tuition). -I had a genuine conversation with my parents about my dream of becoming a physician, and fortunately they are willing to help me. One, and probably the least complicated, way is to directly go to a medical school after graduating high-school (which is not possible in the US). -Many foreign schools recognize American exams like APs, so I guess if I'm going to a non-US medical school, I should score well on my APs even as a senior. -Another reason is that I always take tests, especially standardized exams, seriously, so I'm kind of used to study hard to them. This probably is a good quality, since it is seemingly preventing me from getting senioritis. Yeah, I guess good habits are really good for us to have. -There might be one more reason, which is simply that the AP exams cost quite some money and I just feel like it's a waste if I can't score well on them. I guess rich students don't wouldn't really think about money spent on registration for tests, but I'm not as well of as they are, so I do think about it carefully and want to maximize what I can get out of this investment. -Well, lastly I just want to wish good luck to those who are taking the exams soon.
